Monarch Caterpillars

We have Monarch caterpillars in classroom. They are eating all the leaves on the swan plants and one has hooked.  That means it is getting ready to make its chrysalis.

Fizzing and Foaming

Our topic this term is called 'Fizzing and foaming'.

We started today by wondering.........does  jelly  melt?

We made some jellies today and next week we will see if they will melt.

We are playing 'Fly Swats' to learn words and we practise writing them on the whiteboards.

Cricket Session 2

We were excited about having our second cricket session with Matt on Thursday.

Buddy Reading

Today, we had some of Room 9, our buddy class come and read stories to us.  We learned each others names and now we will be able to say 'Hi' to our new friends in the playground.  Thanks for the stories Room 9. See you again next week.

Today we had our first cricket session with Matt.  We caught the balls and bowled the balls to each other.  We had lots of fun!

Room 3

We talked and decided that these things were in important in Room 3.

Our First Swim in the School Pool

Today we had our first swim in the school pool with Room 4.  We played Fishes in the Water and made a whirlpool.  We liked the running races as well. Most of us put our head under the water.  We all were very proud of ourselves and are excited about going again tomorrow.

Blogs are a great way for us to share our learning with family and friends here and overseas. We can show artwork, photos, writing and news about all kinds of classroom and school events in an exciting and engaging way. Families can leave comments and share their own ideas. We can link to other great websites that provide us with opportunities for learning.  We aim to update our blog regularly so it becomes a  record of the learning that happens in our classroom.
