We got a big blue science box delivered to our classroom........and we got a chance to be scientists!
We explored what happened when we mixed chemicals together and added water (saliva). We made sherbert and then we tasted it .
We found out that mixing together the baking soda and the citric acid
produced a reaction. That reaction created gas - the bubbles that we
could feel on our tongues. We felt our tongues tingling.
Most of us loved it!
